There is this small 16x16" white-colored wooden storage cabinet with a soft-closing door, right beside the warm little bed in one corner of my room.
You might have heard of the pearl inside an oyster. But, this oyster has got lots of pearls, except for the differing fact that I keep adding on, from time to time. The pearls that I’m talking about, are the books that I get to know, wish to buy, and eventually buy to fill this cabinet to the brim.
Ever since I started reading, I knew I fell in love with this magical act of reading someone’s lines, someone’s lives till bidding adieu in the last line of the last page. Books are my happy place, my home, and my comfort zone.
Silly to say this, but I keep the book cabinet door open all the time. I want the books to be always in my sight. Many-a-times, these books have turned my loneliness into solitude. Biographies, Novels, Adventure, Fiction, Utopian, Dystopian, Sci-Fi, Thrillers, Self-help, Crime, Graphic Novels, and a lot more unmentioned.
Lastly, before asking me out for a coffee date, please do let me know if we can meet in a bookstore.😉
