Tattoo

It all started with those sticker tattoos that used to come FREE along with the bubblegums. Getting inked was one of my life goals, back then.

I guess, this little incident happened in my 8th class. I was desperately trying to show off a temporary spray tattoo in front of my crush and instead, my English teacher saw the tattoo. She had given me scolds enough for a lifetime. Though I was embarrassed, I was happy for getting the attention in front of the class, and the crush 😉

Back then, it was all about looking cool. Fast forward to my late teens, I loved donating blood and it was my cool thing. And, somewhere, somebody told me that our blood can’t be donated forever if we get inked. So, I chose to donate blood instead of getting inked. Stopped fantasizing about tattoos and I was under this perception till the time I started writing this sentence

Wait, it’s not over yet. God!!! I just wanted to re-check and confirm the thing with tattoos and blood donation. And to my biggest and happiest surprise, we can’t donate blood, yes, but it’s only within a year of getting inked. We can donate blood after that.

What do I say now, writing this stuff about tattoo made me freaking happy. I don’t need to compromise on any of those two things. I can donate blood. I can get a tattoo. I loved it ❤ This is my short sweet story about the tattoo. Did you love it? Do comment your heart out. Thanks for reading this till here.
